With the support of our many partners and fellow allies, Visit Concord got right back into the field and stepped up the hospitality and tourism recovery in our community based on collaboration, thoughtfulness, and building a better community together.
A combination of marketing co-ops with 20 partners and over 34 tradeshows and large industry events attended kept the trusted role of Concord as a welcome, inclusive and diverse destination to explore. The background of stunning Mt. Diablo, open dining, outdoor shopping and plenty of live music led to record-breaking journalist and influencer visits, articles written, website impressions and social media coverage.
Visit Concord leads a passionate path to develop and nurture our destination with new initiatives for our hotel partners and attractions in sensory training and accessibility, sustainability, and other target-engaging campaigns. Our advocacy efforts include regional and local tourism awareness to restore lost business travel, create stewardship tools, and continue to entice travelers from all locales.
The following report dives into Visit Concord’s collaborations and advocacy with key stakeholders, as well as recovery marketing and sales planning and initiatives. The power of travel is remarkable and we are so pleased to share Concord’s story with you.
