Navigating Crisis

FROM THE TREASURER | CHRIS MELLINI | THE CROWNE PLAZA CONCORD

In short, take care of your family, friends and neighbors. A helping hand will be remembered as we continue to build a stronger community together!

Chris Mellini

Throughout the past year, Visit Concord’s Board of Directors donated more than 1,100 pounds of tuna, peanut butter and hot cocoa mix to the Monument Crisis Center in order to help local residents who struggled during the pandemic.

WHY TOURISM MATTERS

Tourism and Economic Vitality

Whether travel is for business, leisure, sports, events, or just connecting with family and friends, every person who comes to Concord contributes to the city’s economic vitality through dollars spent on dining, lodging, transportation, shopping, and entertainment. Tourism dollars fund things like regional parks, economic development, arts and culture, education, roads, public safety, education, affordable housing, workforce development and other community programs.

Concord’s new Visitor Center also promises to have a positive economic impact for the city through an enhanced downtown presence and collaboration with our many partners.
