Walk To And Through Newhall Park In Concord

Let’s take a short walk along Galindo creek and then continue through Newhall Park.

The walk should last about three hours including breaks and a lunch stop. Bring a bag lunch if you want to eat.

There are three small hills. The tallest is about a 100-150 foot climb. The distance will be roughly 5 miles or 9 kilometers. Most of the walk is flat or nearly so.

Newhall Park offers some nice views. The pace should be at the slower end of a medium hiking pace. Leashed, well behaved dogs are welcome. There may be a tiny bit of mud here and there. Rain does not cancel this event.

Do not knock on the door at 1221 McEwing Court. I am only using this address so as to allow us to gather on the sidewalk near the house.
