Join us for Pride in The Plaza

As Pride Month kicks off, we wish to request your support for our LGBTQIA+ community. Your contribution can make a real impact in promoting equality, acceptance, and celebration of diversity. Whether it's $5, $50, $100, or $500 every donation counts toward fostering a more inclusive world. Rainbow Community Center has been serving Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex (LGBTQI+) individuals and their allies throughout Contra Costa County since 1995.

For Pride Month, we are raising $50,000 to help RCC and the LGBTQIA+ community we serve to thrive! Funding will also be used to help Rainbow Community Center host Pride in the Plaza at Todos Santos Plaza in Concord, CA on August 17, 2024.

This event will bring LGBTQQIA+ folxs and their allies from Contra Costa County and beyond. It will center and elevate LGBTQQIA+ folxs and their allies' voices, talents, businesses, organizations, services, and more. There will be events for people of all ages.

Every dollar raised will enable us to sustain and grow our mission by providing critical services including housing support for transitional-age youth experiencing homelessness, clinical mental health services, & social & supportive programs for youth, adults & seniors throughout Contra Costa County. We also provide professional development and training for corporate, government, school-based, and other entities looking to expand and deepen their LGBTQQIA+ diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, as well as their allyship and advocacy.
