9th Annual Earth Day Celebration Event
As your Trusted + Proven + Essential environmental partner, Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery is proud to announce its 9th Annual Earth Day Celebration Event! The event will feature fun activities such as Bounce Houses, Touch-A-Truck, Face Painting, Cart Races, Art Activities, and a special tour of Big Blue 2.0, our new modernized Materials Recovery Facility.
The free and family-friendly event will be held at 1300 Loveridge Road in Pittsburg from 10 am to 1 pm. If you’re interested in touring Big Blue 2.0, our 90,000-square-foot recycling facility, please arrive around 10:30 am. The walking tour will start promptly at 11:00 am. During the tour, you’ll learn first-hand how we use state-of-the-art technology to maximize recycling and minimize landfilling.
After the tour, you can enjoy fun activities like face painting or making art by repurposing materials. We look forward to seeing you there!
Our Earth Day event is free and open to the public. A parent or guardian must accompany minors under 18 years old. All guests are required to sign a Media Consent and Release of Liability at check-in.
