No need to travel afar to sleep under the stars, Mt. Diablo’s popular campsites only seem like a distant escape! Take in the views at one of California’s most scenic state parks, right here in our own backyard.
Elevation: 3,000 feet
With 36 sites, Juniper is Mt. Diablo’s largest campground. Named for the surrounding Juniper trees, the views on the western are a true camper’s delight.
Elevation: 1,450 Feet
Live Oak offers 22 sites and close proximity to Rock City, one of Mt. Diablo’s most popular attractions.
Elevation: 2,200 Feet
With just 6 campsites, Junction is the coziest of the campgrounds at Mt. Diablo. It’s also located next to the popular Summit Trail.
