8 Places to Move & Groove in the East Bay

The East Bay has a variety of venues that offer all types of music, dancing and karaoke. Whether you're looking to hit the dance floor or jam to live music, there are plenty of options to get your fix. Most of these venues are 21 and over.

Vinnie's Bar & Grill 2045 Mt. Diablo St., Concord, CA

Vinnie's Bar & Grill has been a long-time favorite for those looking to groove to live music in Concord. Open daily at 11:00 am, Vinnie's has events every week Monday through Saturday in addition to good food (including breakfast!), a full bar and bar games like pool and darts. Vinnie's is 21+ in the evening.

Monday

Comedy Night happens once a month on a random Monday. Show starts at 7:30 pm.

Tuesday

Every Tuesday is Country Night at Vinnie's. Dance classes start at 7:30 pm and open dancing starts at 9:00 pm.

Wednesday

Jam Night starts at 9:30 pm every Wednesday.

Thursday

Thursday is Salsa Night! You won't find any formal lessons, but you will find great music and a lively crowd.

Friday & Saturday

Nica Lounge is one of the newest East Bay venues to get a drink and listen to some tunes. They have monthly events as well as special events for holidays, which are updated on their schedule at www.nicalounge.com. Nica Lounge also offers bottle service for special events. This is a 21+ venue.

First Friday - Friday Rewind

On the first Friday of the month, live DJs play hip-hop and rap favorites from the early 90's and 2000's.

Clave Sundays - Live Salsa

Every Sunday from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am, Nica Lounge has live DJs playing the best music to get your salsa on.

Grant Street Pub & Pizzeria 1822 Grant Street, Concord, CA
